Well, there's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't enjoy music, pop music at whatever volume and level that you actually want in your own home, but the thing I'm always saying is that what people can't do is cross the threshold and start imposing their lifestyle on other people.
Noise, at the end of the day, is a by-product of a vibrant thriving society. Nobody wants to get up in the morning and have an absolute deathly quiet environment in the background, it's just a question of actually having the sort of balance, and if you're a noise maker making significant levels of noise in a domestic environment, I'd say think about actually the impact that you might be having on other people around you.
