英国皇家医学院是什么?
The Royal College of Physicians(RCP) is the professional body for physicians in the UK. We exist to support doctors and improve care for patients.
We do this by setting high standards, which we expect all doctors to achieve; providing the tools and resources that help doctors continue their learning and development;working with others to bring about better health policies and services;and representing doctors at a national and international level on matters affecting patient care. In summary, we aim to be your first port of call when you need expert advice or information, and a voice when you want to influence change.
Membership of our college is open to qualified consultants and specialist clinicians who have completed their general training and are working as independent practitioners in the United Kingdom. All members are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). 40% of our membership has medical degrees from outside the UK, reflecting our global outlook.
