什么签证可以考加拿大驾照?
1. 国际留学生签证 International Students Visa, Student Permit or Post-Graduate Work permit holder (PGWP) can practice driving after passing the road test provided: they have lived in Canada for at least six months; and their study has been completed with a full academic degree, diploma of three years’ duration, certificate of two years'duration, post-graduate work experience of one year or skilled trades training of four years'duratation.
2. Temporary Resident Visa Visitor Without Status or Visitor from United States(VOW)can drive while waiting to be invited/admitted into permanent resident status(PR). They must hold valid Canadian insurance coverage when using car on public roads which means: if you are not an immigrant,you need get yourself insured by a temporary automobile insurance policy issued by an Insurance Company authorized under provincial law before taking your Road Examinations; once having got your driver licence ,You will then be able to use it without restrictions until Your application is processed; The provisional period may take up to eighteen months depending upon immigration case load. 3. Working Holiday Program (WHV) participants whose work visa has expired but who wish to extend their stay temporarily as workers or visitors in Canada, can apply for a special authorziation that allows them to continue working in Canada pending final decision regarding their immigration applications: It gives holders permission to remain legallyin this country,while their applications for settlement visas are being considered.It also enables them to obtain temporary driving permits so they can use cars on our roads. This program is designed for young adults between ages 18~30, born in Australia,France,Germany or Japan,or aged between 18~35,if coming from Canada,New Zealand or Ireland.In exchange for limited work authorization,the WHV participant receives a temporary work permit allowing him to work up to a maximum of ten hours per week.
